Autumn 2013 - Robert is being represented by the Eames Fine Art Gallery, Bermondsey Street, London SE1, and will be having a solo show in the spring of 2015
Only a small selection of work is shown on this site. All artwork is available to view (and buy) by appointment in Robert’s studio in Bermondsey Street, London.
Robert Mosley’s work subjects itself to the impossibility of drawing, asking that every mark he leaves surprises him with the strongest possible contradiction between his mark-making gestures and a need to show us what he sees. While bringing the drawn figure into doubt at every stage, his strokes and lines are only ever held in trust, to be erased and re-tried.
Whilst Robert has been drawing and painting since the mid 90’s, 2011 is the first year he showed and sold his work.
